Speakers and the call for speakers
Speak at Community Day Trivandrum
The call opens when we announce the date. Here is what we will look for, so you can start shaping your talk now.
- Call for speakers
- Opens with the date
- Deadline
- Announced when it opens
- Formats
- Talk, lightning talk, workshop
- Who can submit
- Anyone, first-time speakers included
What we look for
This is a community day. The best sessions come from people describing what they run, not what they sell.
- Work you have actually done
- What you built, what broke, what you would do differently. Slides with real numbers beat slides with logos.
- Depth over breadth
- One architecture explained end to end is worth more than a tour of twelve services.
- Something usable on Monday
- A pattern, a script, a checklist, a decision the room can take back to their own team.
- New voices
- If this would be your first talk, say so. We will pair you with someone from the community to help you prepare.
Formats we run
Final slot lengths are confirmed when the call opens.
30 min
Talk
A full session on one topic, with time for questions.
10 min
Lightning talk
One idea, one demo, no filler.
90 min
Workshop
Hands-on. People leave with something running in their own account.
How the lineup comes together
Community-led means the programme is sourced and selected by the community.
- The call opensAnnounced together with the date. Anyone can submit, and we actively encourage first-time speakers.
- The community reviewsProposals are read by the organizing team and community reviewers. Sponsorship does not buy a slot.
- The lineup is publishedSpeakers and sessions appear on this page as they are confirmed, and the agenda follows.
The lineup
No speakers to show yet: the call has not opened, so nothing has been chosen. Confirmed speakers and their sessions appear here as soon as they are.
Got an idea already?
Send one line about it. We will reply when the call opens, and if it fits a meetup before then, we might get you on a stage sooner.
